How to configure your computer in Windows 2000
This guide will step you through how to configure a Dial-up connection for 0014 in Windows 2000
- Close any programs you have open.
- Click the Start button.

- Next click Settings then Network and Dial-up Connections.
- The Network and Dial-up Connections dialog box will appear.

- Double click Network and Dial-up Connections.
- The Connection wizard will begin.

- Click Next to continue
- The Network Connection Type dialog box will appear.

- Select Dial-up to the Internet, then click Next
- The Internet Connection Wizard will then begin.

- Select I want to set up my Internet connection manually as shown above.
Then click Next to continue.
- The Internet connection type option dialog box will appear.

- Select I connect through a phone line and a modem, then click Next.
- The Internet account connection information dialog box will appear.

- Untick Use area code and dialing rules, then in the
Telephone number field enter 0198380000. Click Next to continue.
- The Internet account logon information dialog box will appear.

- In the Username and Password field, enter the details provided to you by 0014,
these settings are specific to your account.
- The Configuring your computer dialog box window will appear.

- In the Connection name field, type in 0014 Internet, then click Next to continue.
- The Setup Your Email dialog box will appear.

- Select No, then click Next
- The Internet Connection Wizard completion box will appear.

- Click Finish to continue
- The Network and Dial-up connections dialog box will appear.

- Right click the mouse once on 0014 Internet, the dialog box as shown below will appear.

- Left click on Create Shortcut as shown.
- A window will appear to confirm creating a shortcut on the desktop.

- Click YES to accept
- Configuration of your dialup connection is now complete

- A 0014 Internet shortcut is now located on the desktop.
NOTE: The username must include @0014.com.au when logging onto the Internet.
